We adults get so nervous when we pick up a paint brush or crayon. Actually, how often do we take the risk to do just that? But put a crayon or paintbrush into the hands of a young person and amazing things happen.
Ferguson celebrates this courageous example of children of North County St. Louis. About half of the artworks in this book are by pre-schoolers! In addition to drawing, painting and collage we have an array of photographs by students at Berkeley Middle School.
We thank the adults who submitted these works for this year’s Festival, and hope more will be inspired as we continue to celebrate the creativity of our young people. Thank you to our contributors:
