Ferguson Art Festival: A North County Celebration
Call for Artists
Good Shepherd Arts Center (GSAC) is organizing an outdoor art festival for Saturday, May 8, 2021. We are offering spots in various parking lots on North and South Florissant Road and West Florissant Avenue to regional visual artists who would like to demonstrate their artmaking as well as sell existing works. Limited spaces on 501 Plaza, with tents or pavilion access, will be available at additional cost.

ELIGIBILITY
Participants must be age 18 or older to participate with original work that has been completed in the past five years.
ARTIST SPECIFICATIONS
- Artists' work must be juried in for participation. Photography must be in a standard format - not printed on canvas or metal. All art must be the artist's own handwork from the artist's original design. The jurors may contact an artist for additional images if they have a question about the eligibility of work.
- No tents or electrical access will be provided (with the exception of some spaces on 501 Plaza).
- Artists are requested to make a donation of 20% of sales to GSAC.
- Artists hold harmless the City of Ferguson and GSAC for any loss or damage to property, or physical or other injury that might occur due to my participation in the Ferguson Art Festival.
- Incomplete applications will not be processed. Please check carefully before submitting. Applications must be signed (by typing in your name), a sample of work provided, and a fees paid in full to GSAC.
- Individuals are responsible for handling all sales transactions and reporting sales tax. If Ferguson requires a vendor application, GSAC will make these available in advance of the event.
- No refunds, no rain date, please be prepared as this is an outdoor event. If weather prevents your participation, the fee will be donated to GSAC.
PUBLICITY
GSAC reserves the right to photograph all exhibited works and to use digital images of said works for publicity, web, email, and/or social media.
CALENDAR

April 15, 2021 Notification of acceptance
April 30, 2021 Confirmation of assigned spaces
May 8, 2021 Artists set up at 10 a.m. on May 8 (noon if assigned to 501 Plaza) and vacate the assigned site by 5 p.m. that same day.
FEES
$20 non-refundable fee per accepted individual OR $40 non-refundable fee for artists requesting space at 501 Plaza (with tent or pavilion access provided)

To be juried for a spot on W. Florissant or S. Florissant Avenue it is $20. The day starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m.
501 Plaza
To be juried for 501 Plaza, it is $40. This is a shorter day: noon - 5 p.m. There are a limited number of spots: maximum 20 tents and 4 spaces in the pavilion.
